Works with ChatGPT & Claude

Save study material straight from your favourite AI

Ask ChatGPT or Claude for a quiz, summary, or flashcard deck - and have it saved to your Gradiuz library automatically. Organised, searchable, and ready to review. Free with any paid plan.

No extra cost. No credits used when your AI saves.

In your AI chat

You: Make me a 10-question quiz on the water cycle and save it to Gradiuz.
AI: Done - I created "The Water Cycle" quiz with 10 questions in your Gradiuz library.

How it works

Three steps, then just ask

1

Add Gradiuz to your AI

In ChatGPT or Claude, open the connectors / MCP settings and add Gradiuz using the address below. Sign in once and approve access.

2

Just ask

Tell your AI what you are studying: "Make me a 10-question quiz on photosynthesis and save it to Gradiuz." It writes it and sends it over.

3

Study on Gradiuz

Your quiz, summary, or flashcard deck is waiting in your library - organised, searchable, and ready for spaced-repetition review.

What gets saved

Everything lands in your library

Quizzes

Multiple choice, true/false, and fill-in-the-blank questions land as a ready-to-take quiz.

Flashcard decks

Front/back cards drop into a deck and join your spaced-repetition schedule.

Summaries

Markdown summaries are saved so you can reread the key ideas any time.

Before you start

What you'll need

1. A paid plan on your AI app

Adding custom connectors is a paid feature of the AI apps themselves - not something Gradiuz controls. Claude supports it on Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise. On ChatGPT (web), it works through Developer Mode on paid plans (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, Edu).

2. A paid Gradiuz plan

So your saved quizzes, decks, and summaries have a home. Don't have one? See plans.

No Gradiuz credits are ever used when saving over the connection. Your AI does the generating, so it costs nothing on top of your two subscriptions - save as much as you like.

Setup

Connect in a minute

Your Gradiuz MCP endpoint — paste this into your AI app's connector settings:

https://gradiuz.com/api/mcp

In Claude

  1. Open claude.ai or the Claude desktop app and go to Settings → Customize → Connectors.
  2. Click the "+" and choose "Add custom connector".
  3. Paste the Gradiuz address above and click "Add".
  4. A Gradiuz sign-in window opens — log in and approve access.
  5. In any chat, ask Claude to make study material and save it to Gradiuz.

In ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT on the web — MCP apps are web-only right now.
  2. Go to Settings → Apps → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode (if your plan allows it).
  3. Go to Settings → Apps → Create. On Business/Enterprise workspaces an admin may need Workspace settings → Apps → Create instead.
  4. Enter a name and paste the Gradiuz MCP endpoint above as the server URL.
  5. For authentication, choose OAuth (Gradiuz asks you to sign in).
  6. Click Scan Tools, complete the Gradiuz sign-in prompt, wait for the tools to load, then click Create.
  7. In a new chat, enable it via + → More → Developer Mode, pick the Gradiuz connector, then ask it to make and save study material.

ChatGPT MCP is web-only and runs in Developer Mode (Settings → Apps → Advanced). Custom connectors with action tools are supported on paid plans.

Example things to ask

"Turn my chemistry notes into a 20-card flashcard deck and add it to Gradiuz."
"Summarise this chapter and save the summary to my Gradiuz library."
"Create one quiz and one flashcard deck about the French Revolution in Gradiuz."

FAQ

Common questions

What is this exactly?

Gradiuz can connect to AI apps that support MCP (the Model Context Protocol), like ChatGPT and Claude. Once connected, your AI can save the quizzes, flashcards, and summaries it makes straight into your Gradiuz account.

Does saving use Gradiuz credits?

No - never. Your AI does the generating, so saving a quiz, deck, or summary to Gradiuz over the connection uses zero Gradiuz credits. It is included in your plan.

What do I actually need to pay for?

Two separate things. First, a paid plan on your AI app - adding custom connectors is one of their paid features, not ours. Claude supports it on Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise. ChatGPT supports it on the web through Developer Mode, on paid plans (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, Edu). Second, an active paid Gradiuz plan so the saved content has a home. Beyond those two subscriptions there is no extra charge, and no credits are spent when saving.

Which AI apps work?

Claude (claude.ai and the desktop app) and ChatGPT (on the web, with Developer Mode) are the main ones. Any AI client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in will work - you add the Gradiuz endpoint once in its connector settings.

Is my account safe?

Yes. You sign in to Gradiuz and approve access yourself, and the connection can only save to your own library. It can never see other people’s content or post publicly.

Can it save several at once?

Yes. Ask for a batch - for example "make 3 quizzes" - and they are all saved in one go.
